This weekend I began using a 2nd display and put M14 on it. To my surprise, the toolbars stayed on the primary display. When I tried to move them to the 2nd display, they insisted on hugging the side of the display. As a result, if I used the 2nd display on the right, the toolbars hugged the left side of the display and interfered with viewing the document. My solution was to move the display to the left, and let the toolbars hug the right side of the display. They apparently don't like to "leave" the primary display, and always leave a small vertical edge in the primary display.
