Hello,
i'm trying to solve a system of PDE's with one equation that contains an integral in space.
i expect that the parameter "is" will be constant in space - but its not...
i'm using prime 10,
can you please help me?
thanks,
Matan
Haven't looked in detail, so I can't provide a solution.
But I noticed that it gets worse when we increase the precision
Here is what your function looks like in 3D
The spikes in the red line (is(x,0.5)) can't be seen because they are very tiny (0,004 at max) and the z-axis in the 3D plot is scaled from -6000 to 3000.
Here is what we see when we scale it from -0.001 to 0.005
So I am not sure, but what we see may be "just" numerical artefacts/inaccuracies.
