How do I read the points from an x-y plot? You used to be able to click the line and trace along it to read off the x and y values.
Using MathCAD prime 3.0.
How do I read the points from an x-y plot?
Why do you think that this "feature" is implemented in Prime? Because most basic free function plotters have it? Prime is different. Its still a heavily unfinished product not worth to be called a successor of Mathcad (15). There are very few good reasons to switch to Prime and a huge number of very good reasons to stay with MC15.
So the answer to your question is - you can't. Maybe more luck with version Prime 0.4 or 0.5. Sorry , PTC spells that 4.0 and 5.0 for unknown reasons.
While the MC trace function does not exist in MP, MP does have a "markers" functionality on the Plots tab. You can insert a vertical and horizontal marker and read the corresponding values at the intersection of the two markers. A PITA, to be sure, but at least there is some functionality. Doubleclicking the displayed marker value allows you to copy the value into somewhere else.
