I just started to use Mathcad... I was try to find the sqrt of a value in N/mm^2 and my end result was given in units (Kg^1/2) /(m^1/2)s... I do not understand why it is happening... Can anyone help me out...

Hi,

Welcome to PTC Prime.

For example f'v is an empirical equation that assumes fç is in MPa. The equation is not unit consistent
so it must be fooled into getting the right value of fç numerically by dividing by units and then putting the unit back in.
