This result of this substitution (in M15) came as something of a surprise to me. It doesn't seem to matter what number or variable name you choose (I've used zero above)!

Interesting. I tohught it must be doding a "rewrite, cos", but it seems not. The only "normal" way I can get the same result is "rectangular"
