Hi Could someone explain why I am getting different answers - 58 & 59 min ?

It seems to be tolerance related.
your calculated delta t using 15 decimal places shows a time less than 59 minutes. Redefining delta t to 3540s works okay.

It has to with the functions Trunc and trunc. Trunc takes the first parameter and divides it by the second, then applies the function of trunc which cuts off the decimal part. The result is then multiplied by the second parameter.
Since your delta t used the value in hours, you have a large decimal part that was completely cut off.
