Could any body let me know how to make this Variable notation M* in MC active calc. sheet (M superscript. star)?

Like below?

Follow the steps below.

• Type your variable and make sure the place holder is situated to the right.
  
• Hit ctrl shift and k - This makes the cursor red and indicates you are in special character mode.
  
• Add your symbol.
  
• Press ctrl shift k to come out of special character mode.
