pallette disappears

I have the following trouble in MathCAD:

my programming pallette (and some other pallettes) disappear. That is, when I click on the pallette, it indicates that it is selected, but the pallette seems to be ``off-screen''. I have had this trouble before, but always I have been able to locate a corner of the pallette just barely peaking into the viewing area of the monitor. I am using vista. How can I get the pallette window to open within the viewing area of my monitor?

Here's one solution, resize your display so it's really large. Then you can find the toolbars, and drag them all the way to the left. Then resize the display back to your normal size. They should be visible.

or check (and eventually change) their position in the registry.

I am using an old monitor, and for some reason, I cannot change its resolution. How do I change window positions in the registry?

"monitor" and PC's go by generation.
Why not get a 2nd hand system for < $ 200.
A monitor where you can drag/stretch the work sheet.
Understood, that's not a direct answer.
