I can't work out why I am getting the error (number > 10^307) when I can clearly plot is on a graph?

You are not plotting it on the graph. Not all of it. Your range variable goes from -25 to 25, but your graph doesn't. You are raising e to the power of some really big numbers, and getting an overflow. The graph just ignores those points and plots the rest. Cut your range to something smaller, say -20 to 20, and it works.

Richard

The limit seems around 23.
