Dear community,
I have a question about Thingworx SCO Connected User license.
According to PTC license agreement, page 19, "This license does not entitle the user to general view access in Windchill nor the ability to install and use ThingWorx Navigate View apps. "
That being said, can someone explain me why one the features contained within this license is PTC Navigate View (please see attached image) ?
Thank you very much for your help,
regards
Solved! Go to Solution.
Thingworx Navigate view has shared functionality between the SCO app Operator Advisor and Navigate. Part of the Navigate functionality is also used in Operator Advisor.
Both access MPM, and the WindChill REST services, so there are standard libraries shared between them. In this case the library access is managed by the "Navigate view" license. Instead of making a separate license option for this WRS access and the functionality, the Navigate View feature is included in the license.
Operator Advisor doesn't "View" Windchill, it imports the MBoM for execution in the Operator Advisor application.
So it is a shared functionality license.
