Old posts showing up at top of lists

I've noticed that some rather old posts are suddenly showing up in the discussion boards. For example, this one:

Old 32 bit vs 64 bit Question

It's understandable when someone has responded to the question, but not when, like this one, there are no responses since it was first asked in 2013. What in the world is causing this to happen?

I was going to start the thread if, so that you for staring it. A whole bunch of old posts today.

Here's a screen grab of a mess of them. I think they are still running corrective scripts to fix stuff.

At least I am not getting email notifications for each of these like we did at least one time before.
