Creo Parametrics 3.0 Reqiures License - Where do I obtain free license as a university student?

I downloaded the PTC suite of applications, primarily for using Creo Parametrics for my engineering class.  I downloaded the software fine and can open the applications, however, upon opening, a message box is displayed:

"License request failed for feature"

and the program closes.  How can I:

1. Obtain a free license as a university student

2. Register this license with my software after it is downloaded
