Creo doesn't start

Hello,

First sorry for my english, i'm french.

I'm student and I have school edition of Creo 2.0

I have tried to install creo 2.0 on Windows XP, Windows 7 & Windows 8. Now i'am on Windows XP Pro.

I had problem with Creo 2.0, when i want start creo parametric just after install creo, Creo does not start.

I have tried to change mode 256 colours and to activate OPEN GL. Also I have tried to uninstall Quality Agent & reinstall this, but all things we haven't find the solution of my problem.

Do you any idea to help me ?

would you try to install on another machine with windows xp pro?

No, because i'm in training and i have just one computer for me.

Is the machine and graphics card on the approved list for Creo 2.0?

In machine equip with Windows XP I'm not sure for the graphic card.

But when I have setup Creo 2.0 on machine equip with windows 8 and nvidia card ( good configuration), the same problem arrived.


I'm very disappointed because when i click on the shortcut of parametric nothing arrived. If click on parametric.exe nothing arrived too.

PTC has a dedicated group for academic support, have you tried that. I think this is a common problem and they can probably help you quickly.

If you use integrated Intel (R) graphics, please refer to https://www.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/solution.jsp?n=CS156839 for a possible workaround.

Qimin Zhou, I can't go on your link because i haven't the "right" to reach at this part, because i have student account.

If possible to copy what you want what i'm see in this link, on this subject ?

As STEPHEN WILLIAMS2 suggested, you should talk with the team in our community. I've moved this discussion there so that our team can take a look and get back to you.

They will most likely ask you to fill out a Academic Support Request so they can give you some 1-on-1 support.

Ok, i send a request .
