I was wondering the differences because as I'm watching the video presentations on How to Model Almost Anything, it's hard to follow on the screen what they are doing and wondering if they could use the Student Ed for the webinars (if that's what the majority online are using).
For instance, I can't get my objects pallete to stay up when I'm sketching.
Thanks!
As a FIRST team member, you have access to the "Student Edition" of Creo. While at times PTC has shown the "Academic Edition" in the Robotalk webcasts, this is irrelevant. We have not shown you anything you cannot do with the Student Edition.
The commands Todd used in the Robotalk Webcast 2 are highlighted in the image below; Flexible Modeling, Warp and Freestyle. The Creo Help Center can give you some good insight into these features and capabilities. Just run a quick search for each command to find the relative section in the Help Center.
