Feature overload in Electronic devices

Feature overload can cause product design nightmares. How do engineers make it work? Short and interesting, with a couple jokes.

Saw an interesting comment on the original post on engineering.com's video site:

"It's marketing  that wants the features.  Not engineering.  We just want to build stuff  that works.  And that is easy to manufacture so we don't get tons of  warranty returns.  I hate to say it, but Vince isn't the first guy to  want a latte machine on his photocopier.  The truth is more frightening  than your fiction."

Any thoughts from the community?
