Is it possible to do Inertia relief analysis in Creo?

I need to analysis the stick and boom models.

I have tried to do the boom but stress is high in boom mounting point because i fixed a pin as X:00 Y:00 and Z:00 displacement.

Yes - it is possible to have Creo Simulate solve a problem using inertia relief - see check box below from Static Analysis Definition dialog::

Update - ...funny thing - I submitted this reply prior to seeing Steven's post to the original query. This is the first time I've seen this happen...or maybe never paid attention to it! Looks like maybe somebody is reading the replies to make sure they are legit before posting them...I hope so!

Thanks for your reply.

Hello,

How exactly do they balance the force with inertia relief option? does it get applied on center of mass or does it get distributed over elements?

Thanks
