I was viewing a fairly large edz model, hiding and unloading stuff when I got a "insufficient memory" error.
The program locked and when I rebooted PV started OK but when I try to load a file I get a message "unable to open zip archives". This is the same for any edz file I try to open so it's not the model that's corrupted. I have even tried re-installing and loading a restore point.
I am amazed that there is nothing here or anywhere on the internet about it because I have now broken 2 PV installations with this problem.
I'm running a petty old 4GB dual core on 32 bit XP.
Hi Paul,
Send your issue for PTC's technical support ("Create a New Support Case"): https://www.ptc.com/appserver/cs/case/case_logger.jsp
Also you can try to test your EDZ files in Creo View Express: http://www.ptc.com/products/creo/view/express/
Thanks Vladimir. I did download CeoView Express and that soved the emergency. Our IT guy has since fixed my broken installation. Hopefully he remembers how he did it as I went on to break 2 other installations on spare workstations.
Thanks for you help.
PS. I don't have access to customer support.
No problem.
