Hello everyone, when Ι try to install creo parametric 12.4.0.0 Ι get this message and the creo parametric cant fully installed. Ι have try to install the latest java and the java 21 and still have the same problem. And then the pop up window shows about that my hardware cant be qualified for the photo render studio but when Ι run the hardware check utility , it shows that my hardware is qualified as you can see for those in the attached files.Please give me an advice for how to solve that problem.Thank you

I am using Creo Parametric Release 11.0 and Datecode11.0.6.0After installing PTC Creo (11.00.07), I attempted to open various files. However, only assembly (.asm) and part (.prt) files will open. The ZIP archive contains Notepad++ UDL files for config.pro and drawing setup (dtl) options. I've created them for following CAD versions: WF4 (= Pro/E Wildfire 4) CEP5 (= Creo Elements/Pro 5, formerly Pro/E Wildfire 5) CP2 (= Creo Parametric 2) CP3 (= Creo Parametric 3) CP4 (= Creo Parametric 4) Basis for the options were the lists of Olaf Corten (thanks for them) http://proesite.com/UTIL/view_config.html and http://proesite.com/UTIL/view_setup.html.   General config.pro options get shown dark blue and bold. Hidden config.pro options get shown in a lighter blue, bold and italic. Comments get shown brown and can be folded, if they consist of several lines. Drawing setup (dtl) options alse get shown dark blue and bold.   To add a UDL file to Notepad++, choose "Language" and then "Define your language" in the menu. I am using Creo Live SimulateI've designed a spring and as a stand alone part has a stiffness of 56N/mm according to Creo Live Simulation. I have created an assembly with 2 of these springs in parallel on a mass of 8.4kg. I expect to get a natural frequency of about 18.4Hz, but creo simulate live is giving me a result of about 173Hz. It appears to be looking at higher order resonant frequencies and not seeing the 1st mode natural frequency.I'm wondering if this has something to do with the contacts (bonded) between parts in the assembly? What is the significance of the tolerance value in this context?I'm starting to lose confidence in the reliability of the software.

Hi all,Creo+ Version - 13.1.0.1-001Windchill+ Version - 12.1.2.17 I'm trying to map attributes from Windchill+ to our start parts and then drawing templates to populate our change block. I feel like I'm probably not the first to try this and imagine there's a solution out there I just can't find. One major issue I face is that due to being on a Windchill+ system, I don't have the ability to change attributes through Type & Attribute Management without moving through PTC. If that is the only way to achieve my goal I will, but just need to know if that's my best bet. The attributes I would like to map would be :Change Notice NumberCA II DescriptionResolution DateCreated By If anyone has some information I would be grateful! I want to quickly see location (on the hard drive) of the part I am working with. I work with big assemblies in different folders. Sometimes parts are the same.   With Creo it's not clear. I looked for the answers. Suggestion is to edit config file. Is that really that complicated? And how to actually edit it?    Looked at this http://support.ptc.com/help/creo/creo_optm/usascii/index.html#page/optm/options_modeler/fund_five_sub/Setting_config_pro_Options.html They say go to Tools > Environment. But I don't have that menu option.   Your help is highly appreciated!

I am getting an error for license file does not support the version for Creo 12. I have reconfigure the installation still it is not working.

I am using Creo Parametric Release 10.0 and Datecode10.0.7.0just migrated from windows 10 to windows 11. We manage all mapkeys in config.proworked fine with creo 10 + windows 10most mapkeys are two letters. For exemple "RR" for right view. etc.All mapkeys do not work properly since windows 11 migration. First letter is recorded by creo 2nd letters is lost, we have to hit second letter again to make shortcut work Hence needs 3 hits for one mapkey...Most of our daily tasks are performed with mapkeys.We are over 20users trained with these mapkeys. We cannot change them. Please let us know what issue is and how to fix it

(config_init.mc... and others). i have also enabled modelcheck in the config edit as well that the Modelcheck_dir. I have also enable show_reports. The .bom file is created, but it is limited to 2-3 characters, whereas we need more characters in this .bom file. I frequently disconnect and reconnect to our network when i bring my laptop into conference rooms for meetings. Creo often gets stuck with popups on top of popups (unsaved data warning, license lost, and Windchill server unavailable). I am forced to restart because I cannot select the "retry" option on the license lost dialog as its covered by another popup that can't be moved. Is there a way to get around this?

I have installed Creo 12 successfully on 2 machines but on one of the machines I get the errors below and the browser fails to work. Presumably the errors below is because the browser is not working.   Things I have tried already: Removed all config / UI files (Vanilla install) Reinstalled using an install script that worked on the same hardware Deleted the Creo Agent and Platform folders and replaced with folders from a known working install Performed a Windows Control Panel > Apps >PTC Creo 12 Platform Services > Modify > Repair I have Creo 9.0.9.0, Creo 12.4.0.0 and Creo 12.4.2.0 installed. Creo 12.4.2 works fine as far as I can tell other than the internal browser not working, but I do need it to be working.   Any other suggestions? This happened one other time and I had to reimage which I am really trying to avoid.

Hi EveryoneI am using two separate detail files for two different config options:drawing_setup_file format_setup_fileWhen I create a new drawing, I get the following error in the Message Log:Error(s) in C:\Program Files\PTC\Creo 11.0\custom\ISO-prt-asm.dtl. See datafile.ers.  In datafile_error.txt, the error is:ERROR - C:\Program Files\PTC\Creo 11.0\custom\ISO-prt-asm.dtl, line 2: Invalid value 'CALCULATED' for keyword 'text_height'.Note:Both detail files contain the same config option text_height.In ISO-prt-asm.dtl (used as drawing_setup_file), the entry is:text_height CALCULATED (Causing an error)In ISO-frm-prt-asm.dtl (used as format_setup_file), the entry is:text_height 3.5 (Not causing an error) OBSERVATION:If I changed the value of "text_height" from 3.5 to "CALCULATED", ISO-frm-prt-asm.dtl file is also making an same error I mentioned above. Software: Creo Parametric 11 Can Someone help me on this? Thanks.

Hello, everyoneWhen adding the "search_path" option in the Configuration Editor, if the path contains spaces, Creo+ crashes with a “fatal error encountered”. The crash results in EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION. The Creo-generated traceback log file is attached for reference.Paths containing spaces are expected to be supported. This behavior worked correctly in Creo 7.0 and is consistent with PTC official documentation, where examples of "search_path" usage also include paths with spaces.In our environment, removing spaces from folder names is not a viable workaround, as we are using corporate directories managed via OneDrive, and the space is part of the root-level folder name.As a result, this issue causes significant difficulties when manually defining paths for multiple subassemblies (up to 10 in our case) and standard components.
