Creo Version: Creo 10.0.8.0 and Creo 12.4.4.0.I’m trying to figure out where the metrics files are being written.It looks like files are being written somewhere.   But Windows 11 search is terrible, so it can’t fine files I can see with my eyes.I have the config_init.mc option set as follows.DIR_METRICS    C:\ptc\mc_out\mc_metrics DIR_METRICS_NT C:\ptc\mc_out\mc_metrics DIR_REPORT_NT    C:\ptc\mc_out\mc_report (This works, so I know I have write permission)Image from ModelCHECK configuration tool shows files are being written somewhere.  (probably) 

Hi everyone,We've recently started using Creo 13 and noticed something about the AI assistant feature. In the demos and presentations, the AI assistant provides really impressive answers — but when we try it ourselves, it doesn't seem to generate any responses, and it doesn't appear to be running as a beta version either.Do we need to do something specific to enable the beta version, or is it simply not available yet and we need to wait?We have customers who are expecting this feature based on what they've seen in the demos, so we want to make sure we're not delivering an incomplete solution. Any guidance would be appreciated!

Why are new features already introduced in Creo Parametric 12.4.2 and 12.4.3 listed as new in Creo Parametric 13.4.0? 

Hi, I’m looking to upgrade from Creo 11 to Creo 12. I noticed that when I launch Creo 12 my creo_parametric_customization.ui is not taken in account anymore.The help for Creo 12 says this :The load order is automatically defined as follows:1. Administrator Customization (if it exists at the loading point (What’s the loading point ?))2. User Customization (<Users>\AppData\Roaming\PTC\ProENGINEER\Wildfire\.wf\. Settings)3. Customization of the execution directory (if the value load_ui_customization_run_dir is set to yes) I have a file  creo_parametric_admin_customization.ui from my installation at this location : I have my personal file here : And I don’t have the parameter load_ui_customization_run_dir in my config.pro.When I load Creo, it loads with the default interface, why ?We are two users. I would to have a base customization for us two and let my colleague and me have it’s own customization as well. How can I achieve this ?

Does anyone have an easy solution for toggling model check on and off from the UI or using a mapkey on Creo 10? Currently I have been achieving the result by temporarily renaming the modcheck folder in my installation. I am working through a 12 page drawing that takes 10-15 minutes to complete a model check which is triggered every time the drawing is saved or checked in to Windchill. Besides being a productivity killer as Creo is held hostage during the check, it is also a disincentive for the user to save frequently.This sluggishness has occurred on both a i9 13th gen powered  with 64gb of ram and a new Dell Pro Max 16 with current gen i9 ultra and 64 gb of ram.

Is it possible to create a mirrored part/sub assy in Creo Parametric through Toolkit ?i'm aware to Articles - CS339524 & CS291468 however maybe there is some workaround to achive this goal ? thought on maybe using Merge / Inheritance or such.any idea would be appriciated

After updating to Creo 12, we noticed that the behavior of the Curve Tweak function has changed compared to Creo 11. Is there any configuration, setting, or option that would allow us to restore the previous behavior from Creo 11?”

I am the IT guy , not a user of CREO. For no apparent reason, our company has stayed on Creo 6 for a long time and it is beginning to cause some issues. The download isnt even on the site directly. Seems to be lack of support for newer PCs, etc. I only anticipate more problems.  Question is: How much trouble is it going to be to upgrade to 12 from 6 in terms of people learning the new software and problems opening files? Can the 2 co-exist on a PC in case there were a problem. 

I have old ProE workspaces but I cannot open them. I get this errorerror messageIs there anyway to open these? I know there are files in there because I was able to open them with an old copy of ProE. That is no longer an option. Any ideas?

I had a very difficult time finding a solution for this. I opened a call and PTC said Windows 10 wasn't a supported configuration. Fortunately a curious co-worker discovered the fix. Not having zoom with the scroll wheel was a show stopper for me. Here's how to make it work as before: 1. Select the Start button   2. Type "mouse & t" in the search area and press Enter   3. In the Mouse & touchpad settings dialog select the toggle for Scroll inactive windows when I hover over them until it displays Off.   4. Launch Creo Parametric and marvel at mouse wheel zooming

We tested it from different locations but the license server does'nt work.I am sure that we do not have a problem with the proxy server.Does anyone have the same problem?Question to the PTC folks: Is it possible to fix the problem?

Hi,I have a new server and had to create a new license file for the host.The new license file has “BORROW =1” in all positions. The old license file has “BORROW =720”. If I understand right 720 stands for hours. 720 means 720/24 = 30 days. With the new license file, it is not possible to borrow a license anymore.All licenses are permanent.Is it possible to solve that?

We are using Creo parametric 8.0.8.0. The model of laptop has changed to Dell Pro Max16.There are a lot of unknown issues during Creo operations like sudden shut-down of Creo, taking too long to open assemblies compare to old laptops and so on.Dell Pro Max16 is on Creo parametric PTC Creo 10.0 Hardware Support Dell while it is not on PTC Creo 8.0 Hardware Support Dell. Would there be any potential solutions for this?

I am using Creo Parametric Release 6.0 and Datecode6.0.6.0Our engineers have a query regarding creo, see below: We need some help on CREO piping module - clocking angles. At the minute, there is a discrepancy between the CAD and the measured angles on the machine. We want to understand, how CREO measures the angle between to the end coupling oriented in 2 different planes.

For creo 10.0.5.0, while loading large assemblies from our network drive, it takes 4-5 times more time for me than the other users. Made my colleague login to my machine and run the same test. It was slow for him as well. tell us the issue is machine specific. Tried the first 3 resolutions from this article and still no improvements.Article - CS49886 - Loading/saving assemblies from/to network drives is much slower than from/to a local disk in Creo Parametric Is it something escalating to PTC would help?thanks.

Hi Team,Looking for suggestions. We have limited Creo Parametric licenses (PROE_DesignAdvP T3 and PROE_DesignAdv T2). Is it possible to control license selection via the Creo launch .bat file so it checks FlexNet availability and automatically switches to the next available license if the preferred one is fully consumed?I’ve tried using lmutil lmstat in the batch file to check license usage. it checks the license count then close the launcher bat. i tried different codes but it is still bypassing the license count check. HiI am on Creo 10.0.9.0As detailed in the picture below, as I increase the value of the Transparency, opacity increases. Shouldn't it be named to Fill Opacity instead of Fill Transparency?Hope I am not missing anything.

Hi Folks,Is there a way to customize/tailor the Bill of Materials report in assembly mode so that the headers can be specified as parameters?  For example, instead of the default column header 'Name' I would like it to be 'Title'.  I would also like to create additional column headers. Thank you. 

Hello everyone, when Ι try to install creo parametric 12.4.0.0 Ι get this message and the creo parametric cant fully installed. Ι have try to install the latest java and the java 21 and still have the same problem. And then the pop up window shows about that my hardware cant be qualified for the photo render studio but when Ι run the hardware check utility , it shows that my hardware is qualified as you can see for those in the attached files.Please give me an advice for how to solve that problem.Thank you

I am using Creo Parametric Release 11.0 and Datecode11.0.6.0After installing PTC Creo (11.00.07), I attempted to open various files. However, only assembly (.asm) and part (.prt) files will open. When I view a part, the background is completely black.Here are the errors that I facedNo error messages. but Despite successfully creating and saving new sketches, the part view still shows a black background. Changing appearance settings did not resolve the issue. I still could not visit the part

The ZIP archive contains Notepad++ UDL files for config.pro and drawing setup (dtl) options. I've created them for following CAD versions: WF4 (= Pro/E Wildfire 4) CEP5 (= Creo Elements/Pro 5, formerly Pro/E Wildfire 5) CP2 (= Creo Parametric 2) CP3 (= Creo Parametric 3) CP4 (= Creo Parametric 4) Basis for the options were the lists of Olaf Corten (thanks for them) http://proesite.com/UTIL/view_config.html and http://proesite.com/UTIL/view_setup.html.   General config.pro options get shown dark blue and bold. Hidden config.pro options get shown in a lighter blue, bold and italic. Comments get shown brown and can be folded, if they consist of several lines. Drawing setup (dtl) options alse get shown dark blue and bold.   To add a UDL file to Notepad++, choose "Language" and then "Define your language" in the menu. I am using Creo Parametric Release 6.0.3.0.Is it possible export file in format of GLTF from Creo Parametric ?

I am using Creo Parametric Release 12.4 and Datecode12.4.2.0Good morning, when uploading the new releas and the new license file, I get an "inappropriate" error. I should point out that I also downloaded the latest license file.
