Returning license to the pool

I am having extremely annoying problem with Structural Simulation (Mechanica) license. Even though I exit Pro/E in orderly fashion, my Mechanica license keeps hanging in its checked out state. Then, when I get back to Pro/E, I cannot check it out again, because license server has it out already. I noticed that after some time the problem clears itself, but I don't know exactly how long it takes (seems like an hour or so), and how to change this value. Is there any explicit method of returning Mechanica license back into the pool after I'm done with it? Any suggestions?
