Hello,
some weeks ago I installed WF5 M020 on my new DELL Precision T3500. It works fine.
The workstation has Windows 7 Ultimate installed (64bit).
Now, some security patches later (of Windows, Java AND NORTON INTERNET SECURITY 2010) I am not able to install M040 of Wildfire 5.
When I doublecklick on setup.exe Windows7'sUAC (User Account Control) asks me if I want a program to make changes to my computer. After confirming that NOTHING HAPPENS.
When I set UAC to the lowest security level - same procedure. If I disable Norton's firewall - same behavior. I am not able to runptcsetup to install the software. I tried it with WF$ M150 - it is the same behavior.
YES - I downloaded and unpacked the 64bit versions of the software...
Does anybody have some suggestions ? I am new to Windows7....
