Hello Robin,
"Source licenses" are also "Configuration management" licenses. Configuration management licenses are needed for the following operations:
- Changing any field on a document or content ina document: This includes creatings, adding, or copying content in any context
- Baselining, versioning, or revisioning a document
- Branching a document
- Labelling a document
- While in the Source Trace Viewer, clicking the button to bring up the project contents
