Collection Widget Performance Issues

Hello everyone,

 

Recently we have been using the 'Collection' Widget in some of our mashups. For this purpose, we are constructing a dashboard containing around 10-12 Cells. Each cell, is a Mashup with 100px/100px size with 6 text boxes. 

 

The load of the 'Collection' widget is roughly taking around 15s (at this point the loading bar stops showing), and only at the 25s mark do I get the updated dashboard.

 

Is this a known issue? I'm using v8.4.10

Hi @rnfonseca, Maybe you can try to simplify your mashups to avoid embedding collection inside of dashboards and vise versa.

Each small cell can be seen as a small mashup, and by using Collection widget, you are multiplying the number of submashups been opened, the time may get faster than yours but it's true that it's longer than usual.

 

A simpler submashup could work better.
