It depends on which version of the historian. You can do this via the ADO.Net remote thing (using oledb,) via a custom .net GE Historian connector using their C# SDK (please contact Steve Alexander or me via e-mail if you are interested in this approach, since it requires a bit of configuration) or via their REST APIs, if you are using the historian version 7.0 or later.

Yes I would be interested in the ado.net remote thing. Do I need to download and install .net edge software and the ado services software? On the historian box.

Thanks

Hi  Chris,

Have you got the answer? Would  you mind to teach me? I meet the same problem when I use the oledb.  And it's my first time to connect ge  historian.

Looking forward to your reply.

Bests,

Yijun

Hi,

And how can I connect using the REST API in v7.0 GE Historian?
