Database connection (Access and Excel)

Hi everyone!

How to fill in the configuration for the Access database, does anyone know? I tried (see screenshot), but obviously wrong. There is no example for this database in the Relational Databases Connectors Extension.

And is it possible to connect to Excel (as a database) in the same way? Or is it possible only through reading csv-files?

Hi @Mr_Henry_M.

You will need to create your own extension using a third party jdbc driver for Microsoft Access.  Instructions are available on the Help Center for creating your own connector.

There are similar third party drivers available for Excel--nothing from Microsoft directly that we are aware of.

Unfortunately, we don't have any examples around this type of configuration since we don't test these scenarios, but perhaps someone else in the community can provide this level of detail.

Regards.
