How can I Scan a barcode or QR code in ThingWorx?

I am wondering how to scan a QR/Barcode in a ThingWorx Mashup. This question was answered here (https://community.ptc.com/t5/ThingWorx-Developers/Integrating-barcode-scanning-functionality-in-mashup/td-p/574883) but that extension is no longer available.

Hello,

In the projects I've built I have just used a text field. However there are some drawbacks to this as there is no good way of setting focus, so you can't really "hide" the text field.

But I have to say I am also interested if someone else has found any other way of doing this.

Hi @MG_9567080 , In my previous project also had the same kind of requirement. But in PTC Thingworx there is no readily available widgets/solution.

Note: This Extension was not supported by PTC Thingworx Team.
