How do we convince the user to switch to New Composer instead of basic composer ?How do we explain the customer why they log on to a ThingWorx home page(Basic Composer) only to click a link to another page(New Composer) to do their modeling.

Aditya, though the New Composer has new features, it is not at its final state; we're still working on porting existing, and adding new functionalities and features with each subsequent release. With that being said, in the near future, the New Composer will replace the Classic Composer when ThingWorx starts, so you won't have to switch back and forth.
ok Thanks Ravi
Aditya, just to add to the key points Aanjan already noted rolling out new composer in sort of its "early stage", if you will, also gives us the opportunity to collect feedback from the end users, making it more meaningful as they could be more readily adopted in design of new composer.
You might have already noted that there is a new community space completely dedicated to the new composer NextGen Composer , feel free to join for following the discussions and feedback shared by other users like you, and in fact share yours if you like.
Hi Ravi and Sushant,
Do ThingWorx 8.0 version New Composer which will be released have all the capabilities of basic composer ?
Regards,
Aditya
Hi Aditya Kumar,
Yes, the plan is to replace the old composer with new composer with almost all capabilities from old composer and new enhanced capabilities.
One quick note. The 8.0 release of the Next Gen Composer will not have full feature parity with the existing Composer. We are phasing the functionality over the course of our 2017 releases. 8.0 will include new updates for JavaScript and SQL Service editing, Event Management, support for all TWX basetypes, etc.
Thanks Ravi And Ankit
