How to get the Rest API status code alone?

Is there a method in thingworx to retreive status code of REST API

Currently I did not find any build-in service in ThingWorx to get the status code of REST API requests.

You may consider to use JavaScript functions but I am not sure if it would work.

Could you describe more details of your use case and see if there are other workaround instead of getting status code directly?

Thanks for your reply .

The main Use-case is to check the availability of external server,either the server is Up or Down.

to make it more clear i need to check whether Windchill server is up or not

I have chosen status code of API because it will be generic to find any system availability in a generic mannar.
