We are pleased to announce that the Next Gen Composer is now the default interface for ThingWorx in the 8.3 release.
This means when you log into ThingWorx 8.3 you will see the Next Gen Composer interface as your starting experience. There will no longer be any need for jumping back and forth between the legacy and new Composers. NGC is now fully functional, has all of the features that were in the legacy Composer, and has many additional enhancements and usability improvements.
For 8.3 we completed the remaining features of:
- User and Group Administration
- Permissions
- Export
- Monitoring
- Log Viewing
- French and German language support
- Mashup Builder performance and usability is also improved
Our work is not done with the 8.3 release, expect many more improvements in each ThingWorx release! We already have planned:
- Language support for Italian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Russian, Chinese
- Configuration Table editing
- File Repository management editor
- and more!
