Invalid byte 1 of 1-byte UTF-8 sequence

Hi Folks,

I'm running TWX on 2 machines and exporting Entities from one to another but getting below error.

Error importing: error, Not Acceptable

"Internal error: com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.impl.io.MalformedByteSequenceException: Invalid byte 1 of 1-byte UTF-8 sequence"

*Both the machines have same TWX instance and configuration.

Any clues on this??

Hi Carles,

Above case link referring to update Java settings of Tomcat.Unfortunately, I couldn't install tomcat through exe but a copy of installed directory of it.

Can you please let me know where I need to perform the below resoution. is it Catalina.sh or what?

make sure the Java settings for Tomcat include the following flag:

• -Dfile.encoding=UTF-8

It will depend on which operating system are you working...

But just do a web search on "how to change Tomcat Java options on XXX operating system and you will find it.
