Is there any case and connection method for ThingWorx-Kafka connection?

My customer is asking for answers to these questions.

Hi Yong, is this not an option Kafka Connect | Confluent ? Currently as far as I know this is not something available OOTB, may be someone here has more on this.

There is nothing OOTB available. However, you can customize to use Kafka by writing an agent. We did this for a demo over three years back to push data from Kepware to Kafka to Thingworx.

We tried to read the Kafka Que post it to ThingWorx using REST. It did not work well when you are dealing with high velocity data particularly when you are looking for near real time updates.
