Hi, I tried doing the same and was able to reset the password and user. But it still does not do anything and does not let me access the settings to activate the "Interactive" mode. My intention is to do DDE from/to an Excel sheet as well.
I must say that my Kepserver install is still a DEMO. Is this the reason why it won't let me?
In addition, Can you provide DETAILED instructions to use the Excel RTD function? ProgID name, Server Name (location), and the nomenclature for the specific items. An example would be very nice to have.
All the above is me testing with the DEMO before deciding to License.
Thanks in advance

The Demo period use does not affect the ability to make changes to the KEPServerEX settings. You may need to perform the uninstall again if you are still seeing the dialog box requesting a username and password to access the KEPServerEX Administration. The uninstall will need to be done by rerunning the KEPServerEX install .exe; selecting "Remove" and completing the wizard. You will then be able to re-install KEPServerEX and either set a new password or check the box during the install options to not have to use a password to access the Administration.
Here are two links to the Kepware Knowledge Base Articles to assist with the KEPServerEX to Excel connection:

You should be able to use MyKepware login credentials to access the articles. If additional assistance is needed; you should open up a support case. Here a link to the MyKepware portal where cases can be created.
