Hello,
I want to draw some regions at Google Map.
Firstly, i created a DataTable which consists of some location data.
Then, i tried to link its "All Data" to RegionData, RegionLocationData, and link both of them.
But it couldn't draw a region location at Google Map.
So, how should i draw some regions by using Google Map?
For example, if i have four location data, can i draw a square region at Google Map?
Thank you for your help.
Hi Hoono,
Regions need a Table inside of a Table.
The parent table holds the different regions. the child table holds the locations for each of those regions.
The main table goes to RegionData and the Field that represents the table inside of it goes to RegionLocationsData
Next you need to specify at minimum the RegionLocationsField. If you don't have an additional Region location field, you can either leave that one blank or assign the embedded table field.
There is an example you can download in Support/Examples (expand section B) that shows how it is done.
Thank you so much, PaiC.
Dear Pai,
Could you please point to location, where we can download. I believe TWC website is closed and I am unable to search where the Examples are in the https://community.thingworx.com/
Thanks,
Prabhas
Hi Pai,
As Prabhas, I'd like to know where is the example mentioned too.
Thanks,
Quang-Dung
I'm going to add the example as a blog post
