Web app Azure IoT connetor question

Hi,

When I installed the azure iot connector I created an active Directory application to access resources.

Question: For high volumes of data I have to scale this application?

Hi, Maurizio.

Does your application connect to AD on every transaction? If you cache the credentials and each is not unique you may not have that much trouble scaling.

The Azure IoT Hub Connector Installation and Operations Guide pages 63 - 70 discuss monitoring and fine tuning the Azure IoT connector itself; maybe you can use this in checking out your application to see if it's consuming more resources and needs to have more allocated.
