Who created a Thing?
Is there any way you can find out who created a thing that you have read only permission on?
It would be useful to know who to contact if you need to request permission to edit it a Thing if you are not an administrator.

Usually you can find that out in the Change history section of an entity.
However I believe if you do an import, the Creator becomes the User that is doing the Import.

What if the thing is newly created? Then it does not seem to have any history.
Thingworx must know because there are service calls to see if you can edit it that fail if you did not create it.

The change history should show up right when a Thing is saved. However there was a bug in version 5.0 SP1 or SP2 where change history was not being displayed. That is fixed in 5.1
