We have Thingworx Navigate platform where we have deployed 5 apps. We are using Windchill authentication for logging into Thingworx platform. There are two apps which requires manual access and rest of the apps are available for all the users.
We are facing issue when user tries to login with different combinations of uppercase and lower case letters which in turns create 5 different username in Thingworx platform.
Windchill does not have this issue.
What are the ways we can prevent these situation.
Hi,
This is work to spec for TWX : https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/cs259466
As far a I know you can't change the behavior except by using SSO authentication.
Kind regards.
Is there any workaround suggested to clean up this mess? We will end up with multiple versions of same user. This may be a licensing issue as well.

Hello,
As far as I know there is no workaround about that.
It's planned for future version but no release announced yet. ref TW-84237.
Kind regards.
Hi,
Is there any news here? Because many customers have this problem.
And it means additional work for the administrator.
Kind Regards,
Sibylle
Hello,
There is no fix yet from latest info from TW-84237.
As stated above usage of SSO will prevent "duplicated" users.
Kind regards.
