Change the symbol for the "out of date" clocks

Change the symbol for the "out of date" clocks

--> Change the symbol for the "out of date" clocks

Hello,

I have 2 questions about the clocks that are responsible for the various "out of date" notices.

1.) Is it possible to assign a different symbol to the clock (triangle, dot, square)?
2.) Is it possible to use a different symbol for all 3 possible clocks (Out of date, Out of date with Workspace

configuration & General Status)? Or do these attributes all use the same symbol template?

Thanks

Heiko

Hi @hhagedorn

The answer is, that it uses same icon.

If you want to change the behavior you need to customize it

The issue is that the workspace UI is really really hardcoded and almost customization is not possible because Workspace UI does not use datautility mechanism.

Hi @hhagedorn

Rewrite the icon on the server with own image.

"...Windchill\codebase\com\ptc\windchill\uwgm\cadx\images\uwgmoos9x9.gif"

ps> the path is edited because I thought it is in the netmarkets location but it is not.

Hi @HelesicPetr,

thank you for your feedback, about changing the image.

But did you know the answer about my second question?

--> ... Or do these attributes all use the same symbol template?

Because we want to have different images for every attribute, like:

  • Out of date: green triangle
  • Out of date with Workspace configuration:  red square
  • General Status: Clock

Do you have the answer?

Regards Heiko
