Creating Actions for Subtypes

I need to create a new action for my created subtype. This has to appear in the actions present in the details page. Do I go into the folder system of the windchill server? How would I add actions to subtypes I create?

Hi @VillageFool12,

You can create new action only for subtype by modifying actionmodel xml files and writing custom actions and models. For that matter you need access to Windchill folder structure.

There is a section in Windchill Customizers Guide which talks about Action Model that you can refer to as a starting point.
