Is it possible to attach a PDF document to a WTPart

Hello All,

I was wondering if it is possible to attach a PDF document to a WTPart like how we have secondary attachments for WTDocuments. Can you let me know feasibility of the same?

Yes, there is a preference for this at Site level

But fully test this out. It fundamentally changes your data management object model so be sure this is what you want.

Thank you for your response, could you tell me if this functionality can be configured in such a way that the Set Attachments is available for specific type of WTParts?

Honestly do not know. It would require playing in the Type Manager but I think the preference is for all WTParts and subtypes.

The setting applyes for all WTPart types.

With some customization it could be doable.

You can activate this functionality in a Preference Management

Attachments on parts set to yes

Then content tab is activated on the detail page.
