CAD Meta-data mismatch with CAD version

A000100108, 02.5 is the latest version of the CAD model in windchill, but when the user opens file from solidworks via workgroup manager it is actually shows old file, updates made in the 02.5 version is not visible & it shows 02.1 old version file. this issue is particularly happening to one user frequently in a random manner. even “out of date” icon is also not shown by windchill, but once we remove the file from workspace & add again it works fine, but our worry is design may lead to work with old files that would be a worst scenario.

How this can happened, is there any known root cause please let me know team!

Have the user make a new workspace. The old workspace may be corrupted. See if that resolves the issue
