Hi,
every time I try to create new Windchill PDMLink document via DTI in Office 2010 SP1 32bit, document creation is successful, but after few seconds error message pops up with message:
The system cannot find the file specified. PostFile
If I check in PDMLink, new document with chosen name exists, but as NoContent document. Windchill did not successfully upload document.
There is an SPR opened in PTC (https://www.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/spr.jsp?n=1992399) from year and a half ago, but without workaround and I am stuck with it.
Does somebody know any workaround for this problem?
Tomaz,
We have had the same experience intermittently on 9.1 M060. The documentation for the temp patch mentioned in https://www.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/solution.jsp?n=CS10944 which I requested also mentions that it should fix the postFile error. We only applied this on our production server yesterday though, so I'm still keeping my fingers crossed...

The best course of action for this problem is to speak with PTC Technical Support. They can confirm the issue for the release and build of your server to determine if there is a patch or update that will resolve this issue.
The PostFile message is indicitive of a file we cannot find in the same location as previously identified and often encountered when Windows is not displaying file extensions. We are working on an update for this issue when extenstions are not displayed, but no target release has been identified yet. Hopefully soon.
