Disable ECN Publish to Oracle Apps !

Hi All,

I am configuring Windchill integration to Oracle EBS using the standard Tibco based ESI.

In my Oracle EBS, Oracle Engineering is not configured which means I cannot publish ECN's to it.

I want to switch off the ECN publish to Oracle Apps and instead only publish the affected items/BOM's of the ECN.

I set the value for the Tibco Global Variable "ESIORAECNEnabled" to "false" expecting it would not attempt to publish ECN.

But it still tries to publish ECN and fails although the affected Parts are getting published successfully.

What other setting is required to achieve this desired result?

Very late to the party, but did you ever figure out how to do this?

We are attempting to do the very same thing.
