Disconnected Prinncipals?

Users cannot login, it seems to be the users who only use the system every now and then.....and go a long time without logging in?

I have discovered the affected users in the maintenance
area as disconnected principals

1. how do they become disconnected?

2. How do I resolve?

Hi David,

A principal(user,group,org) will become disconnected when it looses a
valid reference in the LDAP where it resides. Windchill will mark a
principal as repair needed(disconnected) when it fails to find the
reference of persisted users in the LDAP Search base

Do you have your Windchill integrated with Active Directory? If yes, please
check with IT for any activity around it( moving users from one node to
other....etc)

You can reconnect the disconnected principal-
