Hello,
With Windchill 10.1 M020 in "Vault configuration -> File -> Brodcast configuration, when I make a brodcast to the file server, I get this error message:
wt.wrmf.delivery.WTDeliveryException: wt.wrmf.delivery.WTDeliveryException: (wt.wrmf.transport.httptransport.httptransportResource/2) wt.wrmf.transport.WTTransportException: "http://XXXXl/Windchill/servlet/WindchillGW" authentification failed.
I checked the dns and it is in order, even for the hostname and the IP address.
Does someone have an idea of this problem ?
Thanks
Pascal
Hi Pascal,
It could be due to one of many reasons:
1. Ports/Firewall setup: Communication through web server (Apache, for example) - Are you able to do a telnet from one server to another (should be successful in both directions) through the port configured for the application? (In our setup, we faced this issue practically and that's why it came to my head right away). Ensure that the ports configured for WindchillDS, Tomcat and webserver are open both ways.
2. Security key: Was there any regeneration of the Security Key (Site - Utilities - File Server Administrator - Site Administration - master - Update Keys). If this had been done, then you would need to download the key from master and place it in the replica server as well and restart application in Replica.
3. Is this happening for only a specific replica site or all replica sites?
4. What is the recent change in the setup after which this behaviour appears?
Thanks,
Prabhakaran V.
Hello,
Ok I make the point 2 and it's OK !
Thanks
Pascal
Following authenticaton failed, I would have set the wt.intersvrcom.security.URLAuthentication to false to narrow it. If it works with false then it looks like a key issue else verbose can help more.
Hello,
Yes, it's work with "wt.intersvrcom.security.URLAuthentication=FALSE".
