P.S. The data "logged" to the database is much more structured than our
textual log files -- that's the point. In fact, it's much more
structured than log4j's JDBCAppender, e.g. capturing relevant
performance metrics, exception class names, etc, etc, into separate
columns for easy data mining.

pages in various releases and MORs between 10.0 F000 and 10.2 M020 and
the forthcoming 10.2 M030.
