I have assembly A which contains parts B, which needs to be duplicated to C & D respectively.
However, another user has previously duplicated B to D (and checked in) and done much work to D which must be kept.
Therefore, I want to duplicate A to C, and have A use D in place of B.
In Intralink 3.4, we could deal with this as follows:
- In the workspace, duplicate A & B to C & D.
Intralink 3.4 allowed this even though D already exists in commonspace.
- Check-out D from commonspace, replacing the duplicate.
In Windchill Intralink 9.1, I can't seem to get away with this.
Save As will not proceed because the number must be unique..
Is there a way to override this behavior?
