Initial info: all of our epmdocuments are owner linked to their own wtparts
When looking at the Uses table of a CAD structure in Windchill, i can add the column 'Component ID'. This value is pulled from Creo, and helps me determine the difference between all the children in a structure.
I want to see this value in the WTPart structure, and I haven't been successful. I've spent too long going in circles, and wanted to reach out to the community for ideas.
(probably first issue is that i'm not even sure the right internal name for that attribute)
Thanks
Hi
what is your Windchill Release ?
cause it is out of the Box since 10.0.
You can see it in "reference designator" column in WTaprt BOM in Component or Occurence table
By default , Component ID is mapped in Occurence , or Component Name if you fill it in Creo
