How to remove Drop down against object Type Selection ?

Hi All,

My requirement is to set default object type for Variance in particular Product.

Like, for Product A - Deviation
          For Product B - Waiver

and this type is non editable, so user wont control this.

Kindly suggest possible approach to do this.
