Intralink 3.4 Full Disks - Purge? Add Disk space? Vaults?

Hello All,

I have just been tasked with supporting an Intralink 3.4 instance for another division. I have never even been exposed to 3.4...yikes!

They are down to only 700 MB free across 3 physical hard drives over many years.

I need a quick fix, (or any solution) to either

1. Free up some disk space? Archive? Purge?

2. Add disk space - new server? New partitions to add vaults and span?

Any advice and direction is greatly appreciated!

Thank you,

David T. Francis

Hi David,

Your quickest and cheapest solution is to add more storage.
You can create a new vault to add more storage the current storage cluster.

The way Pro/INTRALINK 3.x work is a Folder are assigned to a storage cluster
and vaults are added to storage clusters. You will need to run proimgr from
a command prompt to create the new vault. A vault is just a directory on
disk that is managed by the Pro/INTRALINK fileserver process.

Regards,

Ray
