Intralink - InComplete Objects

Obviously I have a dependency issue, but am wondering if there is anything I can do to check in the documents associated to the InComplete Object?

Thank you.

Hi Art,

The solution that we have found in the past is to export the assembly out to disk ( Pro/E > backup ) and the import it into a fresh new workspace. For some reason that seems to resolve "no corresponding objects exist" issue.

Hope that helps.

Greg Montgomery

Ghost objects can occur when a merge feature is created in an assembly
(using datum constraints rather than an empty assembly) and then deleting
the assembly afterwards for example. Sometimes it may be a drawing that has
relationships to a long ago deleted part. The way round this is to backup
the drawing to disk, delete all backed-up files EXCEPT for the drawing file
and then retrieve the drawing from disk back into Intralink. You will be
given the option to 'Cleanup drawing dependencies' during retrieval. Accept
'YES'. You will need the following options setting in your config.pro:

cleanup_drawing_dependencies YES

cleanup_layout_dependencies YES
