Lifecycle States

Hi again....another question....I swear I'm researching this before I send out these questions. This one has me quite stumped.
We have a new soft-type document and we want it to have its own lifecycle. We need it to have states called:"CONCEPT_DESIGN" "DETAILED_DESIGN" "VERIFICATION" "COMPLETED"
These states don't currently exist in the Lifecycle Administrator. How can I add them? It seems like I have to do some customization to the system but I find it hard to believe that customization would be required to add states like this. It shouldn't be a difficult process.

Hi Mike, this is a real simple fix and isn't a traditional "customization".

1- Stop Windchill

2- Open a Windchill Shell

3- Type enumcustomize (this opens the tool)

4- Browse to wt\lifecycle\staterb.rbinfo (I think that's the name)

5- Select the new button and type in the name of your states

6- Hit save and close the tool

7- Open a new Windchill Shell

a. Type ant -f MakeJar.xml

8- Clear Tomcat Cache

9- Start Windchill backup
